Leadership Alliance National Symposium (LANS)

As the virus continues to spread and this dynamic situation brings new developments each day, the External Advisory Board recommends the Leadership Alliance National Symposium [LANS] scheduled for July 22-26, 2020, be postponed.  This is the first time in 25 years that LANS has been canceled. We will host a Virtual LANS, July 30 – August 1. Our top priority is the health, safety and the well-being of our community. We look forward to greeting and seeing everyone in person next year where we look forward to celebrating LANS25!

LANS is a national networking conference which offers skill building, networking and professional development opportunities tailored to the training needs undergraduates at our annual Research Conference to include a Career Development Workshop tailored for graduate students, and doctoral scholars (SR-EIP alumni who have completed a Ph.D. or M.D.-Ph.D. degree).  We also offer faculty the opportunity to participate in a Grant Writing Coaching Group, which provides investigators with tailored support that aligns with their current state of professional development.

Save the Date for VLANS: July 30 – August 1, 2020
